Dental Nurse
Full Time | Monday to Friday
Birchfield Dental Practice | New Milton, Hampshire
Looking for more than just your next job?
At Birchfield Dental Practice, we believe exceptional dentistry is delivered by exceptional people.
Every smile we restore, every nervous patient we reassure and every positive experience we create is made possible by a team who genuinely care about one another and about the people they look after.
We're looking for a GDC Registered Dental Nurse to become an integral part of our friendly, supportive and highly professional team.
This is far more than a chairside nursing role.
You'll play an essential part in delivering outstanding patient care, supporting our clinicians, helping patients feel relaxed and confident throughout their treatment and contributing to a positive, welcoming environment where patients and colleagues alike feel valued.
As a long-established practice, Birchfield Dental Practice has earned the trust of generations of patients by providing ethical, minimally invasive and high-quality dental care delivered with compassion, integrity and respect. As we continue to invest in the future of our practice, we're looking for someone who shares our values and wants to grow with us.
We're Looking for the Right Person, Not Just the Right CV
You must be a qualified and GDC Registered Dental Nurse to apply for this role.
Previous experience in general dental practice is desirable, but qualifications and experience alone aren't what make someone successful at Birchfield.
What matters most is who you are.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for people, takes pride in delivering exceptional standards and wants to be part of a team that supports one another every single day.
You could be the perfect fit if you are:
- A qualified and GDC Registered Dental Nurse.
- Kind, compassionate and naturally empathetic.
- Reliable and someone your colleagues can always depend upon.
- Calm, organised and able to remain professional under pressure.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
- Proud of your profession and committed to maintaining high clinical standards.
- Positive, proactive and always willing to help.
- Someone who notices the little things and takes pride in getting them right.
- Eager to continue learning and developing your skills.
- Looking for somewhere to build a rewarding long-term career rather than simply your next job.
About the Role
As one of our Dental Nurses you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by:
- Supporting clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Preparing surgeries and equipment to the highest standards.
- Providing reassurance and support to patients throughout their treatment.
- Maintaining excellent cross-infection prevention and control standards.
- Preparing instruments, materials and equipment efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records where required.
- Taking responsibility for maintaining a safe, clean and organised clinical environment.
- Supporting clinical governance, compliance and quality improvement.
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure every patient receives an outstanding experience.
