Fertiliser Procurement Manager
37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

We're looking for a dynamic Fertiliser Procurement Manager to join our Agricultural Inputs team and play a pivotal role in driving growth, strengthening supplier partnerships and delivering outstanding service to our Members.

About the Role
You will lead the procurement management of our fertiliser portfolio, ensuring Members receive competitive pricing, exceptional service and access to innovative solutions.
Working closely with suppliers, Members and internal stakeholders, you'll identify growth opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and contribute to the ongoing success of the Agricultural Inputs team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments to drive informed purchasing decisions and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Build trusted relationships with Members, understanding their needs and providing solutions that support their businesses.
- Drive Member engagement, business growth and long-term commitment through exceptional service and expertise.
- Act as a key link between Members and Suppliers, ensuring clear communication and mutual value.
- Contribute to business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, helping to shape strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate across procurement categories to identify opportunities, share expertise, and maximise business potential.
- Lead, coach and develop your team, fostering a positive, high-performing culture aligned with our values.
- Drive accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence while supporting individual development and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
- FACTS Qualified with extensive experience in fertiliser procurement.
- Strong technical and commercial knowledge of the fertiliser sector, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Experience managing supplier and key account relationships, budgets and business performance.
- Previous people management experience, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, networking, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
