We are looking to hire a part time delivery driver to join our friendly team delivering meals and groceries to our customer base.
Pay is dependant on drops ranging from £90-£150
We are looking for a driver to work every Monday and Friday delivering between 30-40 delivery drops in the East London area.
There is also the opportunity for overtime to cover holidays with deliveries to be made around Essex, East London and North London. There is also the opportunity to cover holidays working in the warehouse picking and packing orders.
Responsibilities
- Check location of delivery for that day, load customer orders into the van and check that all paperwork is correct
- Deliver customer orders in a timely manner and offer to put meals into the customers freezers if required
- Collect cash and cheques from customers and store them safely
- Cash up your round at the end of the day and handover to the manager
- Check van daily and report any damage or issues. Ensure the van is always in a clean and presentable condition
- Deliver Oakhouse Foods marketing materials where appropriate, as directed by your manager
- Accurately record the load space temperature in the freezer vans, twice daily
Skills
· Full clean UK driving licence
· DBS check required
· Friendly, customer service focused manner
· Excellent time management skills
· Ability to multi-task and help around the warehouse when needed
