CHEF DE PARTIE – Café Bar 1780, PRINCE’S SQUARE, GLASGOW
Café Bar 1780 recently opened in the heart of Glasgow’s stylish Prince’s Square. Serving an all-day menu with breakfast, brunch, light lunches, and evening dining featuring quality steaks, burgers, and more. With regular live music and events, and 1780 is the place to be.
We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team, work alongside our team and assist with head chef in the daily running of the kitchen.
THE ROLE
As CDP, you’ll play a key role in day-to-day kitchen operations, preparing and cooking dishes to standard, keeping the kitchen organised, and supporting the wider team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to spec and standard
- Running sections smoothly during service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Supporting stock control and prep
- Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver great food, and ensure we are a step ahead.

YOU’LL NEED
- Experience as a CDP or equivilent in a busy kitchen
- Confidence running a section and kitchen during service
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, team-first attitude
- A passion for fresh, consistent, well-presented food
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
