We are looking for an experienced, people-focused People Administrator who shares these values and is committed to ensuring every colleague has supportive experience throughout their employee journey. The Role
The People Administrator plays a key role in supporting the People & Culture team by delivering efficient, accurate, and customer-focused People administration throughout the employee lifecycle. The role is responsible for maintaining high-quality employee records, supporting onboarding, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies, and providing a customer centric first point of contact for People-related queries.
Key Responsibilities
People/HR Administration
- Manage the People inboxes, triage and respond to queries in line with People team SLA.
- Maintain accurate employee records in all digital systems including SharePoint and HRIS
- Process contractual changes and employment lifecycle administration.
- Conduct employee file audits and support payroll changes.
- Support exit interview administration and People projects.
- Coordinate, support and own logistics of employee lifecycle events such as probation extension, mediation, investigations, disciplinary & grievances.
- Support with mergers and acquisitions including TUPE
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communications.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Any ad hoc projects relate to People as guided by People Business Partners & Head of
People & Culture
- Maintain SharePoint and workforce planning tools.
- Support engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives such as birthdays, long service, awards
- Coordinate learning and development activities.
- Support performance management and employee benefits administration.
- Support implementation of annual colleague survey and any ad hoc surveys.
Reporting & Compliance
- Produce People metrics and KPI reports in line with directives from People Business Partner & Head of People & Culture
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and support audits.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Previous People/HR or administrative experience.
- Understanding of the employee lifecycle and people processes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
Desirable
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Experience of SharePoint and HR systems.
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD.
