Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic Veterinary Nursing Assistants to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support veterinary professionals in delivering high-quality care while gaining valuable experience in a busy, client-focused practice. You will play a vital role in assisting with patient care, clinical duties , cleaning , and client care to ensure the smooth day to day running of our clinics on greenbridge rd
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary nurses and vet with patients in consults and while they are hospitalised
- Support the preparation of surgical areas and maintain sterile environments
- Help with laboratory procedures including sample collection, processing, and basic testing
- Monitor hospitalized animals and provide comfort under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, procedures
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of clinical areas and equipment
- Engage with clients professionally to provide information about pet care routines
Requirements
MUST HAVE DIPLOMA IN ANIMAL MANAGEMENT OR ANA QUALIFICATION
- 1-2 YEARS of veterinary experience or related animal care background is required
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards animals and clients
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to health and safety protocols
- self motivated and highly responsible
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including saturday mornings
