Job Summary
We are seeking multiple, experienced Machine Operators across our sites. Description of works: Constructing Solar Farms (Trenching, Cabling, Ducting etc.).
It is required that you hold a Valid CSCS card and also NPORS 10 ton above and below (Or Equivalent).
We are also looking for Dumper operators for the same role.

Duties And Responsibilities:
- To work with HSL operatives and customers when carrying out works in an construction environment.
- Liaise with the relevant on-site authority in carrying out your duties, e.g. Site Supervisor
- Present yourself as fit and able to work. (not under the influence of any drug or illegal substance and have not consumed alcohol in the past 8 hours and no more than 7 units in the previous 24 hours.
- Check all equipment regularly, report any defects prior to start of shift.
- Use of mobile phones are prohibited, unless you are specifically requested to use your phone.
- Receive and sign for any safety publications/updates, if required.
- Attend all work briefings, toolbox talks and collected documents transmitted, when requested to do so.
- Ensure you have on your possession: 1) Up to date certification for all necessary certification held. 2) PPE in good working order, clean condition and in the minimum quantity required*
- Arrive to your assigned worksite no later than the meeting time and place specified by your supervisor.
- To assist HSL, and contractors’ staff with all reasonable work requests, so long as it is practical and safe to do so, and the relevant standards are adhered to, this includes changes to: work site, job role (so long as you are certificated and competent to do the role) and additional work site(s). In any event the requests must be made via your Supervisor.
- To conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst working for HSL, including, but not limited to: speaking clearly and efficiently on the telephone to HSL, relevant authorities and contractors staff. Completing all documents/paperwork required, competently and clearly. Ensure you attend the HSL office / worksite appropriately dressed.
- Make all holiday / time off work requests to the HR, giving reasonable notice prior to the start of a request for time off.
- Being punctual at all times, including to: HSL office, work site, inductions, meetings, briefings and tool box talks.
- Report any problems / issues you may have to your Supervisor, the HS office (including refusal to work on safety grounds, if you have or may have a potential drug and alcohol problem, if taking any medication and any other issues which may affect your work).
- Contact your Supervisor should you be unsure of any aspect of the work you are assigned, or feel as though you require further mentoring, training.
