Hours: 7 hours per week per PA (Part-time, exact shift pattern to be agreed)

Job Summary
We are seeking two reliable, respectful, and compassionate Personal Assistants to provide daily support to a 97-year-old gentleman living in his own home. The goal of this role is to help him maintain his independence, personal hygiene, and home environment safely and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care & Hygiene:
- Assisting safely with morning routines, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assisting with evening routines, including helping him change into nightwear and prepare for bed.
- Assisting with mobility around the home, ensuring fall hazards are minimized.
Medication Support:
- Providing gentle prompt support to ensure prescribed morning and evening medications are taken from designated compliance boxes.
Light Domestic Tasks:
- Washing up dirty dishes and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- Wiping down the sink, toilet, and surfaces in the bathroom after use.
- Keeping walkways clear and tidying immediate living areas.
Communication & Cover:
- Maintaining clear verbal or written logs of daily visits.
- Working collaboratively with the co-PA to provide mutual coverage for planned annual leave and short-term sickness.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in elderly care or personal care (formal or informal).
- Patient, respectful, and encouraging demeanor towards an older person's independence.
- Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
- Right to work in the UK.
