The Role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the practice on a day-to-day basis. You will lead and motivate our front-of-house and administrative teams, oversee compliance and CQC requirements, manage supplier relationships, and play a central role in driving our marketing and social media strategy. You will work closely with the principal dentist and clinical team to continuously improve workflows, patient journey, and overall practice performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall day-to-day management of the practice, team, and patient experience
- Staff scheduling, performance management, training, and team development
- Overseeing CQC compliance, Health & Safety, and regulatory obligations
- Managing patient recalls, treatment plans, and appointment flow

- Financial oversight including daily reconciliation, reporting, and KPI tracking
- Driving the practice's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Supporting marketing campaigns, patient communications, and brand positioning
- Contributing to practice growth initiatives and business development
What We're Looking For
- Dental industry experience is essential: you must have a solid understanding of how a dental practice operates, and GDC registration will be helpful
- Proven management or senior supervisory experience, ideally in a healthcare or dental setting
- Confident, credible social media skills, you should be comfortable creating content, managing accounts, and growing an online audience organically
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and hold a team accountable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with patients and clinical colleagues
- Highly organised with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities
