Apprenticeship – Level 3 Business Administrator
Hours – Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary – £17,500.00
Vacancy overview:
To perform a wide variety of administrative duties in a timely manner to support the smooth running of the office. To co-ordinate office activities effectively and efficiently to provide the highest quality service to clients.
The Role:

Responsible for all aspects of office administration activities whilst being reactive to the needs of the business.

Warmly greet visitors to the office; answer phone calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages where appropriate.

Manage correspondence by responding to emails and handling incoming and outgoing posts.

Maintain effective systems ensuring that all filing and databases are kept up to date.

Support the delivery service process, including ensuring compliance, audit and updating systems.

Support care operations admin.
-
Support recruitment and HR admin.
-
Coordinate Care Professional retention activities, such as newsletters, Care Professional meetings.

Support projects and IT initiatives were appropriate.

Control office supplies and ensure they meet office needs.

Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Apprenticeship Development (Level 3 Business Administrator):
This role is offered as part of the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship (England). The postholder will:

Undertake structured off-the-job training in line with apprenticeship requirements.

Develop knowledge of business operations, compliance, safeguarding, data protection and organisational processes.

Build competence in business communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service.

Use a range of IT systems to manage data, produce reports and maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and company policy.

Support project-based work and continuous improvement initiatives within the office.

Demonstrate professional behaviours including integrity, accountability, adaptability and a commitment to ongoing personal development.

Work towards successful completion of the End-Point Assessment (EPA), including portfolio development, project work and professional discussion.

The Apprentice will receive regular supervision and mentoring to support their professional growth and achievement of the apprenticeship standard.
Essential Criteria:

Competent in using office programs (e.g. MS Office, Google Docs, etc.) with the aptitude to learn new software & systems.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Self-motivated and able to work flexibly.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Strong team player with the confidence to work alone.
