About the Role
Join an exciting new opportunity with our rapidly expanding, multi-site tire recycling business! We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Tyre Stripper / De-rimmer to join our operational team.
In this hands-on role, you will operate machinery to remove rims and separate tire materials efficiently, ensuring smooth processing and a safe workshop environment.

Responsibilities
- Safely remove tyres from wheel rims using appropriate hand tools and power tools, following all safety protocols.
- Dismantle tyres into recyclable components, ensuring minimal damage to materials.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tyre removal equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, handling tyres and related materials with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supporting operational needs as required.
- Adhere to all site safety rules at all times, reporting any potential dangers observed
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Previous experience in maintenance or tyre-related work is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and Integrity are a must
