Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced Drainage Van Pack Engineers to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for accountable, professional and hard-working individuals who take pride in delivering a high standard of work. We are looking for engineers who are reliable, self-motivated and ready to get stuck in, with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
You'll operate specialist van pack drainage equipment, carrying out drainage investigations, blockage clearance and CCTV surveys across commercial, industrial and domestic sites. Working both independently and as part of a team, you'll be expected to represent We Clear Blockages professionally, work safely at all times and take ownership of your work from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drainage van pack equipment safely and professionally.
- Carry out drainage blockage clearance using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Undertake CCTV drainage surveys and report findings.
- Respond to reactive emergency drainage call-outs.
- Complete planned maintenance works.
- Diagnose and clear blockages from foul and surface water drainage systems.
- Complete job documentation, CCTV reports and daily vehicle checks.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment to a high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service on every job.
- Follow all health and safety procedures while working on site.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 5:00pm
- 10-hour day shifts
- 50 hours per week
- Overtime available when required.
Pay
- £15.00 per hour
- Overtime available.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the drainage industry.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- SHEA Water certification.
- High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) qualification.
- Confined Spaces certification.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience carrying out drainage blockage clearance and CCTV drainage surveys.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in challenging environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior engineers.
Desirable
- Experience producing CCTV survey reports.
- NRSWA (Street Works) qualification.
- CSCS card.
- Mechanical knowledge of drainage systems.
