The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Self-Employed Window & Door Installer to carry out the installation of uPVC and aluminium windows, doors, bi-folds, sliding doors and associated glazing products across domestic and commercial projects.
Working to a high standard, you will ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently and with excellent attention to detail, leaving customers with a first-class experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install uPVC and aluminium windows and doors.
- Install bi-folding doors, sliding doors and glazed products.
- Remove and dispose of existing frames where required.
- Ensure installations are completed to a high standard.
- Carry out final adjustments and quality checks.
- Identify and report any site issues before installation.
- Complete any remedial work as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service whilst on site.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience installing windows and doors.
- A strong understanding of glazing products and installation methods.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Their own van and tools (vans available to hire)
- Public Liability Insurance.
- A valid CSCS card (preferred).
- MTC card or relevant industry qualifications (preferred).
