Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the store, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and contributing to the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product knowledge and assist customers with making informed purchasing decisions.
- Process sales transactions using the POS system, handle cash, and manage returns or exchanges.
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure products are organized and well-stocked.
- Assist in stock replenishment, inventory management, and ensure products are properly displayed.
- Help with visual merchandising to ensure the store is attractive and inviting.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist with promotions, sales events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
- Follow store policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.

Pay: £18,315.00-£36,922.16 per year
