The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Senior Land Referencer, to assist our Land Information team, by supporting our business growth and expanding our Land Referencing expertise. This is an exciting opportunity to support on land referencing campaigns on some of the largest Renewables and Infrastructure projects across the UK. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team of Land Referencing specialists who will work on some of the most nationally significant schemes in the renewables, transport and networks sector. We are therefore looking for an ambitious candidate with a good understanding of statutory processes and relevant legislation who would like to make their mark on a growing business.
Main Responsibilities
- Able to build relationships with existing clients.
- Lead on the delivery of elements of Land Referencing tasks for a variety of schemes at different stages with an ability to support and direct a team.
- Ability to ensure deliverables adhere to a client’s project programme by supporting the completion of Land Referencing tasks.
- Degree qualified in Geography or a similarly related discipline
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accurate record keeping
- Good communication skills
- Title interrogation of UK Land Registers
- Basic understanding of the different enabling acts that promote CPO, DCO, TWAO and Hybrid Bills in the UK.
Other desirable skills
- A familiarity with Arc GIS and the principles of spatial data management.
- Full UK driving licence.
Location – The role will involve a mix of working from home and in our Manchester office.
Hours – Full time (37.5 hours)
Contract Type – Permanent (6 months probationary period)
