Overview
We are seeking two dedicated and vigilant CCTV Operator to join our RVRC team working the evening shift 19:00-07:00, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises by monitoring surveillance systems, identifying potential threats, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live video feeds from surveillance cameras to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
- Conduct regular reviews of recorded footage to identify any unusual behaviour or incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings from surveillance activities, documenting any incidents or anomalies for further investigation.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and internal security teams as necessary during investigations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and practices to enhance surveillance operations.
- Provide first aid assistance if required during emergencies or incidents on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in surveillance operations or a related field is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills to effectively communicate findings and observations.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with various surveillance systems and technologies is desirable.
- SIA Licence preferred but not essential as full training will be given – upon completion of induction the company will contribute to gaining your SIA Licence.
- A full 5-year employment checkable history.
- Previous industry related experience preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent IT Skills & Computer Literacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Immix, AJAX Pro, Teams, SharePoint, and Office would be a distinct advantage.
- Due to the nature of the role substantial time will be invested in training and development to ensure competency can be evidence with a number of bespoke management systems.
- Ability to engage in lone working as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to assess situations accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs.
