We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly and respectful environment
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to promote a secure environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work part-time hours that may include mornings, afternoons, or evenings and night shifts depending on rota requirements
