Job Description: Grounds Maintenance Operative

A Bit About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in grounds maintenance, horticulture, or landscaping, with an understanding of maintaining and improving outdoor environments. You’ll be working across a range of sites for our clients across Essex and surrounding areas, carrying out a variety of seasonal maintenance tasks to a high standard.
You should be reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently and safely. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and take pride in delivering excellent results as part of a professional team.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Carry out grounds maintenance tasks across multiple sites to a high standard
- Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and lawn care
- Hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, planting, and general garden upkeep
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, including watering, mulching, and planting schemes
- Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality
- Maintain and safely operate tools, machinery, and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines and PPE requirements at all times
- Work professionally and courteously when interacting with clients and the public
- Good plant and horticultural knowledge
- A clean driving licence is required for travel between sites
- PA1/PA6 spraying certification (preferred / required depending on your needs)
