Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting residents within care environments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
The role involves providing assistance with daily activities, supporting care plans, and maintaining effective communication with our residents.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families to ensure holistic care delivery
- Adhere to health and safety policies, including infection control procedures
- The role may require you to work day or night shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a care home setting is desirable
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with service users and team members
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
