We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our friendly team in our busy family-run farm shop, Oakes Farm Shop.
Oakes Farm Shop & Café is a family owned farm shop with a 80+ seat café. We’re situated in West Midlands (based in between Solihull and Coventry). We comprise of a shop, butchery, and a thriving café. We’re passionate about providing the best locally sourced food.
This position involved working 5 days a week, including weekends
Duties to include:
- Prepare and cook meals using fresh ingredients from our farm shop to a high standard
- Liaising with the front or house team throughout shifts
- Bringing new ideas to the department, including menu planning and ideas for our specials board
- Maintaining and adhering to all Health & Safety guidelines in the kitchen
- Assisting the Head Chefs in the preparation and presentation of all food
- Completing ad-hoc activities as needed
