Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of WVDN and compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation, EYFS and Montessori Method of teaching and within the guidelines of Ofsted.
Working as part of a team.
1) knowledge of MS package
2) To perform book – keeping of various nurseries.
3) To manage the business centre and front office of the nursery.
4) To chase debtors over the phone, email and sms.
5) To send statements to nursery parents on a Monthly basis.
6) To process company formation requests and submit annual returns and accounts for new and existing customers.
7) To update the management in order to place an order for any inventory required.
8) Handle customer queries and collect payments for nursery fees.
9) The candidate should be willing to handle any ad hoc responsibility as and when required by the role.
10) Work with the Finance Manager and Finance Assistant to ensure the prompt repayment of deposits and refunds
11) Filing and archiving of invoices, vouchers and other documents
12) Filing, updating and staff timesheets.
13) General office duties, creating documents, photocopying and laminating.
14) Weekly update invoices, payments, cash, cheque’s etc.
15) Adding any extras/changes to Children’s account
16) Ensuring the smooth running of the accounts, ensuring that it balances
17) Answering telephone enquiries, email, face to face
18) Organising checklist for Children and Staff
19) Taking, Logging and storage of monies
Part time: Hours to be discussed
Pay: £13.00 per hour
