About the Role
SPS Impianti UK is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems across industrial and commercial projects. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with careful workmanship to ensure piping systems are installed safely and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and piping plans.
- Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipes and related components.
- Inspect completed installations for quality and integrity.
- Identify and repair leaks or piping defects.
- Use appropriate hand and power tools safely.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other site personnel.
- Follow applicable health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous pipefitting, plumbing, or mechanical installation experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong practical and mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation methods.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
