The Forge in Slindon is a customer focused establishment that combines a cafe and a village stores. A cross between a convenience store, a deli and a farm shop, it stocks a range of food and grocery products, everyday essentials and newspapers.
Boasting locally sourced produce, our cafe serves up breakfasts, light lunches and a selection of snacks, cakes and beverages, from coffee and tea to wines and beers.
We are based in the South downs national park so we get a lot of walkers and visitors.
We are looking for someone who can asst in the day to day running of the business alongside the current Manager. We are keen to find someone that has already got chef/cook experience , so experience in a similar setting or a good understanding of kitchen service is essential . Previous use of till systems and Barista training although further training will be given.
