Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience) + overtime + performance bonus

Edspace Ltd is a leading UK designer and installer of high-quality timber-framed Edpods, outdoor classrooms, SEND facilities and educational buildings for schools and nurseries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Timber Frame Installer to join our installation team.
This is a varied, hands-on role working on high-quality projects across the UK. You will be part of a professional three-person team delivering completed buildings to an exceptional standard.
The Role
Working within a small installation team, you will be responsible for constructing and fitting our timber-framed buildings from the ground up, including:
- Timber frame construction
- Floor, wall and roof installation
- PIR insulation and breather membranes
- EPDM roofing
- External timber cladding
- Installation of windows and doors
- Internal dry lining and finishing
- Laminate flooring and second-fix carpentry
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional site
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in timber frame construction or site carpentry.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Ability to travel and work nationwide, including overnight stays where required.
- Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills when working on occupied school and nursery sites.
- Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit installation team.
- High standards of workmanship with excellent attention to detail.
- Punctual, reliable and committed to delivering projects safely and on programme.
DBS Requirement
As the role involves working on school and nursery sites, all successful applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply. Employment will be conditional upon satisfactory DBS clearance.
Desirable Qualifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- First Aid at Work.
- PASMA and/or IPAF.
- Experience installing timber-framed buildings, modular buildings, canopies or educational facilities.
