PQA Wirral is a vibrant, part-time performing arts academy for 6–18-year-olds, that has been offering high-quality training in Musical Theatre, Film & TV, and Comedy & Drama since 2014. We run classes at Clare Mount Specialist Sports College and Birkenhead High School Academy – and we’re growing!
We’re currently on the lookout for a passionate and energetic Comedy & Drama Teacher to join our team at Clare Mount and inspire the next generation of performers.
The Role
We’re seeking someone with a strong background in Performing Arts/Acting, who can challenge and develop our students’ skills for the stage, while encouraging creativity, confidence, and individuality.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people and is seeking more than just a pay cheque. Someone who genuinely cares about their students, takes pride in seeing them grow, and wants to make a meaningful difference both on and off the stage.
Roles Available:
- Friday evenings, 4:30–7:45pm @ Clare Mount SSC, CH46 1QY
- Saturday mornings, 9:45–1pm @ Clare Mount SSC, CH46 1QY
Ideal Candidate:
- Aged 21+
- Driving License & live within easy commute
- Trained in acting or a related field
- Teaching and/or performance experience
- Passionate about the arts and working with young people
- Excited to create performance-ready pieces for both in-house and external events
- Interested in giving back to the younger generation
Pay:
£65 per session / £20 per hour
Start Date:
Friday 4th and/or Saturday 5th September 2026
