The Role
We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our Risk & Assurance Division. Reporting to the SHEQ & Assurance Director, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and developing our approach to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across DGP Plc.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and engaging SHEQ professional who is passionate about driving continuous improvement, promoting a positive safety culture, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of compliance, quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and continuously improve DGP's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practice.
- Partner with operational managers and site teams to develop, implement and monitor safe systems of work, risk assessments and a proactive safety culture across the Group.
- Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations, providing clear recommendations and ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and closed out.
- Analyse SHEQ performance data, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, environmental and quality matters, including plant, equipment and PPE requirements in line with applicable regulations.
- Support the development and delivery of SHEQ training, helping to build capability, engagement and compliance throughout the business.
Required Skills / Qualifications

Essential Qualifications – General NEBOSH Certificate, CSCS Card, First Aid Certificate, Train the Trainer Qualification.
- Desirable Qualifications – SHEQ-related Diploma, NEBOSH Fire Prevention and Risk Management Certificate, Environmental Management Systems Qualification
- General Management Qualification
- Graduate IOSH Status or CMIOSH status
Required Experience

Essential – At least 3 years’ experience in a SHEQ Management Role
- Desirable – At least 5 years’ experience in a SHEQ Management Role in a similar construction contractors’ industry with line management experience
