Support Worker – Taverham, NG8 6LG
20 hours per week (Monday 09:00 - 16:00 & Saturday 09 :00 - 22:00)

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and confident Support Worker to join our small team, supporting individuals in a residential home in Tavernham.
The individuals you will be supporting have learning disabilities & Autism and benefit from a consistent team that takes the time to build trusting relationships, understand their needs and preferences, and provide high-quality, person-centred support.
This is a genuinely rewarding role where you’ll have the chance to make a real and positive difference every day.

As a Support Worker with Calm Futures, you’ll be a valued part of each person’s journey — encouraging choice, creating opportunities and helping them live life in a way that is meaningful, fulfilling and individual to them.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personalised support tailored to individual needs
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities
- Assisting with personal care when required
- Promoting choice, dignity, and independence
- Supporting individuals to access appointments, activities, and the community
- Administering and recording medication in line with policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and following support plans
- Responding appropriately to challenging situations and behaviours when required
What a Typical Day Might Look Like
- Supporting with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking
- Accompanying individuals to appointments and social activities
- Supporting medication administration
- Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
- Spending time engaging in hobbies and interests that are important to the individuals we support
