Eastbourne Dental Care have an exciting opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic individual to be a part of our team at a busy mixed nhs & private practice. We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, positive person, focused in providing excellent patient care to join our team.
Hours: Hours to be discussed - Up to 44 hours between the hours of 8:45am-6pm Monday to Friday & occasional Saturdays 08:45am - 1pm
Requirements:
- Must be Hep B vaccinated
- GCSE Maths & English
- Enrolled onto dental nursing course if trainee
- If a trainee, after a few weeks, you will be expected to be in surgery and learn on the job with the support of a nurse buddy, your Practice Manager & course assessor
- GDC registration if qualified
Main duties:
- Greeting the patients, making sure they are settled and ready for their appointment
- Assist the dentist during all procedures, set up and clean down the room for each patient, follow infection control when sterilising instruments, care for and support the patient and work the computer system
- Charting key dental information during the appointment
- Keeping the surgery clean and tidy and managing infection control
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
