General Operative / Acrylic Fabricator
We are seeking an experienced Acrylic Fabricator / General Operative to join our production team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to follow instructions and work well in a team or with minimal supervision
- Be physically fit with good eyesight and strong manual dexterity
- Have a positive attitude to work
- Have previous experience in point-of-sale (POS) fabrication and production work
- Be helpful, enthusiastic, reliable, polite and adaptable
- Have good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
Role requirements
This is a hands-on role. Candidates must be fully conversant with, and have solid experience and knowledge of, acrylic fabrication and prototyping. You must be able to demonstrate safe and competent use of:
- Saws and routers
- Manual and powered hand tools
- Measuring equipment
- Heat benders
- Gluing syringes
- Diamond and flame polishers
- UV bonding equipment
Job type and hours
- Job type: Permanent, full-time
- Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Breaks: 1-hour unpaid lunch
- Overtime: Required at busy periods, paid at time and a half
Pay
- Competitive hourly rate, dependent on skills and experience

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
