SJC Transport Limited are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our growing team.
The role involves transporting scrap metal nationwide using modern 44-tonne artic tipping trailers. This is a Monday to Friday tramping role with regular ongoing work.
You will be driving modern Scania trucks fitted with inverter and microwave for nights out.

Responsibilities
- Operate artic tipping trailers safely and efficiently
- Transport scrap metal to various customer and recycling sites nationwide
- Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensure loads are secured correctly
- Maintain delivery paperwork and load information
- Follow all driver hours and road transport regulations
- Communicate professionally with customers and transport office
- Maintain high standards of safety and vehicle care
Experience Required
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tipping trailer experience preferred
- Scrap metal experience advantageous
- Good attitude and communication skills
- Clean driving licence preferred
