About the Role:
Integrity Lifestyle is recruiting Support Workers to work within our supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–25, including looked-after children and care leavers aged 16 and 17.
The role involves providing practical, emotional and independence-focused support to young people while maintaining appropriate safeguarding oversight.
Our aim is to help young people develop the confidence, resilience and practical skills required to progress towards independent adulthood.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Build positive and professional relationships with young people.
- Complete welfare checks and maintain regular engagement with young people.
- Support young people with budgeting, cooking, cleaning, laundry and other independent living skills.
- Support attendance at education, training, employment, health appointments and professional meetings.
- Deliver planned key work sessions and record outcomes.
- Encourage young people to develop positive routines, interests and community connections.
- Support young people to understand risks and make safer, informed decisions.
- Follow individual support plans, risk assessments and placement plans.
- Maintain accurate and professional daily records, handovers and incident reports.
- Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, missing episodes and incidents and escalate concerns to management.
- Support young people to understand their rights, entitlements and responsibilities.
- Complete daily accommodation, health and safety and environmental checks.
- Work collaboratively with social workers, education providers, health professionals and other agencies.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality and safeguarding standards at all times.
Essential Requirements:
Applicants should:
- Have experience working with young people, care leavers, vulnerable adolescents or within social care.
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding children and young people.
- Be able to communicate calmly and professionally during challenging situations.
- Be confident completing written records and reports.
- Be reliable, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Be able to maintain clear professional boundaries.
- Be willing to work flexibly across days, evenings, weekends and nights where required.
- Be eligible for an Enhanced DBS check.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, Residential Childcare, Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience within supported accommodation, semi-independent provision, residential childcare or leaving-care services.
- Knowledge of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
- Experience supporting young people affected by exploitation, substance misuse, missing episodes, mental health difficulties or offending behaviour.
- Experience delivering key work sessions and independence programmes.

We are looking for Support Workers who are calm, reliable, compassionate and professionally curious.
You should be able to balance promoting a young person's independence with maintaining appropriate safeguarding oversight.
You must be able to engage young people without being judgemental, maintain appropriate boundaries and recognise when concerns need to be escalated.
