CTP Systems is looking for a Junior Electronics Technician / Engineer to join our team in Ely for approximately three months, starting in mid-September 2026.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone at the beginning of their electronics career to gain practical experience working with professional broadcast equipment.
You’ll work alongside our experienced production team, helping to build and test CTP products and gaining practical experience in electronics assembly, soldering, testing and basic fault finding.
The role would be particularly suitable for a recent electronics/electrical engineering graduate, someone with relevant college or apprenticeship training, or a junior technician looking to develop their practical electronics skills.
Previous commercial experience is not essential. We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in electronics, some hands-on soldering experience, good attention to detail and an enthusiasm to learn.
Training on CTP products and test procedures will be provided.
What you'll be doing:
- Assembling electronic products and PCBs
- Soldering components, connectors and wiring
- Assisting with product testing using established test procedures
- Helping with basic fault finding and troubleshooting
- Working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Supporting the production team with general work
