Help Shape the Future of Early Intervention in Mental Health
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking three enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Associate Psychologists to join our At Risk Mental State Service. The ARMS Service is an evolving and innovative specialist pathway that is central to delivering national priorities for psychosis prevention and early intervention.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist service supporting young people and adults aged 14 to 35 years who are experiencing symptoms associated with an increased risk of developing psychosis.
As a Clinical Associate Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering psychologically informed interventions and assessments to individuals and their families, helping people to achieve their goals whilst reducing the likelihood of transition to psychosis.
There are 3 available posts based in Southampton, Basingstoke and Totton.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
What You'll Be Doing
Undertake specialist assessments, including the Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental States (CAARMS).
Deliver evidence-based, formulation-driven psychological interventions under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.
Provide low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions and family interventions.
Work collaboratively with service users, carers and families to develop personalised care plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute psychological perspectives to clinical decision-making.
Work closely with colleagues across Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP), CAMHS, Talking Therapies, Primary Care, Community Mental Health Teams and voluntary sector partners.
Support outcome measurement, service evaluation, audit and quality improvement initiatives.
