Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Complex Care Nurse (RGN/RN) to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a client living with a Spinal Cord Injury who is ventilator-dependent.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference by delivering specialist clinical care within the client's own home while promoting their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication administration.
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning.
- Ventilator management and monitoring.
- Oral hygiene using a suction toothbrush.
- Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Pressure area care and skin integrity management.
- Safe moving and handling, including hoist transfers.
- Nutrition and hydration support.
- Monitoring and prompt recognition of Autonomic Dysreflexia.
- Clinical observations and ongoing health monitoring.
- Providing emotional, psychological, and social support to the client.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience in complex care and community nursing.
- Competent in tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator management.
- Experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries is highly desirable.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and clinical protocols.

Pay: Up to £38.00 per hour
