About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and confident female member of staff to join our lounge team.
The role would suit someone who is comfortable working in a busy lounge environment, has good customer service skills and can work well as part of a team.
Main responsibilities
* Welcoming customers and providing friendly, attentive service
* Preparing and serving drinks
* Preparing and maintaining coal throughout the evening
* Preparing simple food items
* Keeping the lounge area clean, tidy and presentable
* Checking on customers and making sure they have everything they need
* Working as part of the team to ensure the evening runs smoothly
* Following hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience working in a lounge, restaurant, café or similar environment is preferred
* Previous shisha experience is preferred, or someone who has experience preparing shisha at home
* Comfortable preparing and maintaining coal
* Able to make simple food
* Confident preparing and serving drinks
* Good spoken English
* Friendly and approachable personality
* Reliable and punctual
* Able to remain calm and professional during busy periods
* Good team player
Hours
Shifts will generally be:
6:00pm–12:00am
or
6:00pm–1:00am
Evening and weekend availability is important.
