Valleys Gas is a growing heating and air conditioning company based in Rhymney, South Wales. We’re a finalist in the Best of Welsh Business Awards 2026, and we’re expanding our air conditioning division to meet strong demand across the region. This is a great opportunity to join an established, reputable local company as we build out a new side of the business.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our team full-time. You’ll be primarily focused on domestic air conditioning installations and servicing, working across South Wales on a variety of residential properties.
As we grow, we’ll also be moving into refrigeration and VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems, so we’re looking for someone who already has these skills and can help lead that side of the business as it develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing air conditioning systems (air-to-air) in domestic properties
- Servicing and maintaining existing AC systems
- Diagnosing and repairing faults
- Working to F-Gas and industry safety standards
- Providing a high standard of customer service on-site
- Working closely with the team to plan and deliver installs on schedule
- Installing and servicing refrigeration and VRF systems as this side of the business develops
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience installing and servicing domestic air conditioning systems
- Skilled and experienced in refrigeration and VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems
- Valid F-Gas qualification (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and pride in a clean, professional installation
- Good communication skills — you’ll be dealing directly with customers
- A team player who’s reliable and takes ownership of their work
