We are looking for an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join our well-established team at Southampton. You will need to be fully skilled and have previous SMART Repair experience whether in a Mobile or Static facility and or Bodyshop experience. You will be able to carry out Cosmetic Repairs along with panel preparation, local paintwork, light filling repairs, windscreen repairs and cosmetic refurbishing of road wheels on all makes of vehicles to the highest standard, whilst meeting deadlines and targets set by the Service Manager.
We are open to semi qualified applicants as structured training will be provided.
The Opportunity:
As a SMART Repair Technician, you will
- Carry out Cosmetic Repair’s along with minor accident damage to panels and alloy wheels, Panel preparation and Painting, lacquering and finishing, and all other minor cosmetic repairs in our Bodyshop;
- Keep work areas clean and tidy; and
- Be responsible for your own health and safety and that of others around you.

About You:
- Bodyshop or SMART Repair experience (essential);
- The ability to offer a high-volume fast-paced service while maintaining exceptional standards;
- Experience preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, using all the latest products and equipment; Attention to detail is Key
- Excellent working knowledge of paint mixing, repairs, masking, painting, polishing and alloy wheel refurbishment;
- A flexible and ‘can do’ approach to work;
- The ability to work on your own initiative; and
- A full UK driving licence.
