We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi-Drop Courier Driver to complete deliveries and collections throughout Northern Ireland.
The majority of deliveries will be made to schools and dental practices, alongside a range of other commercial customers. As the driver will represent our company while visiting customer premises, a friendly manner, professional appearance and strong commitment to customer service are essential.
The role involves following a planned delivery route, handling goods carefully and ensuring every consignment is delivered safely, accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multiple deliveries and collections throughout Northern Ireland.
- Deliver primarily to schools, dental practices and other commercial premises.
- Load and unload parcels safely and efficiently.
- Check consignments against delivery paperwork before leaving the depot.
- Follow planned routes while responding appropriately to traffic delays or schedule changes.
- Obtain signatures, photographs or electronic proof of delivery when required.
- Handle all goods carefully and report any shortages, damage or delivery issues immediately.
- Communicate professionally with customers, office staff and site contacts.
- Keep customers’ information and delivery details confidential.
- Maintain accurate delivery records using paperwork or a handheld device.
- Carry out basic daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organised and presentable.
- Follow all road safety, manual-handling and company procedures.
- Return undelivered items and completed paperwork as instructed.
Essential Requirements
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Previous commercial driving or multi-drop delivery experience.
- Good knowledge of Northern Ireland’s roads and surrounding areas.
- Ability to plan and follow routes effectively.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Professional and courteous when dealing with customers.
- Good communication and basic record-keeping skills.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, navigation system or handheld delivery device.
- Physically capable of safely lifting and carrying parcels.
- A responsible approach to vehicle care and road safety.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience delivering to schools, healthcare facilities or dental practices.
- Experience handling time-sensitive or high-value consignments.
- Knowledge of electronic proof-of-delivery systems.
- Manual-handling training.
- A clean driving record.

Some flexibility may be required depending on delivery volumes, customer opening hours and traffic conditions.
Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
