About the role:
As Student Recruitment Advertising Assistant, you'll join a specialist Student Recruitment team within the University's Marketing and Communications Directorate. Working closely with the Advertising Manager, you'll help deliver creative and effective recruitment campaigns that inspire prospective students and support them throughout their journey to university.

You will:
- Contribute to the planning, delivery and ongoing development of applicant-focused campaigns.
- Support wider brand and subject-level marketing activity.
- Gain valuable hands-on experience and play an important role in attracting a diverse range of students from across the UK.
- Support the delivery of a range of multi-channel recruitment campaigns designed to engage and convert enquiries into application, through a strong understanding of the prospective student journey.
- Help monitor market trends, conduct competitor research, and identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance.
- Work closely with the Student Recruitment Advertising Manager to support campaign planning, reporting and evaluation, combining marketing, project management and analytical skills.
- Help ensure campaigns are delivered effectively, providing valuable insights that inform future activity and contribute to the University's student recruitment objectives, working with internal stakeholders and external media agency partners.

For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

What we’re looking for:
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in advertising and marketing, who has gained some experience in a marketing environment and is keen to develop their skills further.
You will have:
- Excellent attention to detail, with experience of producing, proofreading and refining written content to a high standard.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll work with a variety of stakeholders across the Marketing and Communications Directorate, as well as external partners including the University's media agency.
You will be:
- A collaborative team player with the ability to manage competing priorities and support the delivery of multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously. With strong planning and organisational skills.
- Confident coordinating tasks, meeting deadlines and contributing to a busy, high-performing team environment.
