Visitor Services - Gift Shop Temporary Summer Cover, 8 weeks work, to start immediately £12.79 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to help us in our busy gift shop over the summer holidays. You will get an allowance of £5 per day to to spend in our cafe, free entry to the Zoo and some free zoo tickets for family and friends, and you will work alongside a small friendly team
The role:
· 40hrs per week, 5 days out of 7, 8.30am – 5pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)
- 20 min paid morning break
· £12.79 ph
· Must be able to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle due to our gorgeous rural setting
- Must be 18
- Some retail experience would be desirable
Main Duties
- Working in the admissions box, selling tickets and welcoming visitors, or scanning pre- booked tickets.
- Delivering excellent customer service in our Gift Shop, providing customers with product information and assistance as and when required.
- Ensuring that the Gift Shop stock is replenished, clean and tidy, and that shelves are full and look attractive.
