Material Handler Operator – Nights
Location: Ilkeston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 2:00am, with overtime available
Night Shift Allowance: £20 per shift
Earning Potential (OTE): £42,055 – £54,210 per annum, based on regular overtime and night shift allowance
Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter after 40 hours
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Material Handler Operator to join our busy night shift recycling operation.
The Role
- Operating Liebherr material handlers safely and efficiently.
- Feeding processing equipment and loading HGVs.
- Sorting, stockpiling and moving material around the site.
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
- Working closely with the operations team to keep material moving and maintain production targets.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience operating Liebherr material handlers is preferred but not essential.
- NPORS or CPCS certification is desirable but not essential.
- Training from an NPORS-accredited trainer will also be considered.
- Experience within recycling, waste, scrap, quarrying or a similar heavy industrial environment would be advantageous.
