JOB VACANCY:
Integrated Wellbeing and Bereavement Service Coordinator
£15.21 per hour
30 hours per week
The Integrated Wellbeing and Bereavement Service Coordinator will play a key role in delivering compassionate, person-centred support to patients, families and carers from diagnosis, throughout illness and into bereavement. Working as part of our Integrated Wellbeing and Bereavement Team, you\'ll coordinate holistic support that helps people live well, navigate loss and access the right care at the right time.
Alongside managing an allocated caseload, you\'ll work closely with colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations to strengthen community connections and help build compassionate communities across Furness and South Lakes. You\'ll support the development of innovative wellbeing and bereavement services, helping people access the emotional, practical and social support they need, while working collaboratively with local organisations to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.

About you
St. Marys Hospice is a charity, providing specialist palliative, supportive and care at the end of life for people living with advancing illness, and their families. We have two main bases: the hospice building in Ulverston and the St Marys Living Well Centre in Barrow in Furness. We also provide care in the home setting and provide therapy groups within the local community.
Hospice services include a 6-8 bedded In-Patient Unit, Hospice at Home Service, Family & Bereavement Support Service and Living Well Therapies.
We are also a regional educational hub for palliative and end of life care education and part of the NW Coast Learning Collaborative. We deliver a range of education to internal staff and to the wider health and social care workforce.
