We are a well-established manufacturer of premium wooden kitchen components, supplying the bespoke Kitchen & Bedroom industry across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Support Executive to join our friendly office-based team.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be an important member of the internal sales team responsible for supporting the external Business Development Managers.
You will take full ownership for an active B2B sales quotation pipeline, proactively managing opportunities from initial enquiry through to order completion. You will be required to build strong relationships with both new and existing customers, understand customer requirements, maintain active records of pipeline activity, progress opportunities, handle objections professionally, and ensure all quotations are actively followed up to maximise conversion opportunities and secure orders.
YOU
You will:
- Be an ambitious and enthusiastic sales support professional with a proven track record in proactive sales, telesales, account management, or quotation follow-up roles.
- Be a highly motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside a confident and professional telephone manner.
- Have experience managing a sales pipeline and prioritising opportunities effectively.
- Be comfortable making high volumes of outbound follow-up calls.
- Possess a strong desire for success and be committed to do the work necessary to achieve results.
- Be a self-disciplined, confident decision maker who takes full responsibility for their own performance.
- Be able to build rapport, develop long term relationships with ease and be confident in communicating with all levels of potential customers.
- Be a committed team player, with a high attention to detail.
- Be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Be able to hit agreed targets, and where possible, exceed them.
- Be able to actively listen, allowing you to analyse prospective customer needs, determine client requirements and ascertain potential solutions.
- Experience within the Kitchen, Bedroom or Fitted Furniture industry would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of wooden kitchen components or manufacturing environments would also be beneficial.
