QA Manager
We are looking for a QA Manager to work at our Grove Road site.
Dedicated Quality lead for site, collaboration with operational leaders in assuring the safety, authenticity and quality of products manufactured, whilst ensuring operations and supporting procedures are compliant to business standards & targets, recognised industry, and customer standards & codes of practice.
Main duties include (Full list of duties are available on request):
· Ensure strong Quality leadership and direction is provided to achieve and maintain alignment to business strategies and performance measures, driving action plans, and understanding key trends.
· Collaborate with the Technical Manager on the development, embedding, evolution and review of Technical Standards at Grove Site.
· Support the Operations teams with their decision-making processes.
· As member / leader of the site HACCP team support the ongoing development, review, validation, and verification of the plan and associated quality control points and pre-requisites.
· Key member of the food safety and quality culture team. Ensuring that the Food safety and Quality culture strategy is communicated and promoted across the business.
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification (E=Essential / D=Desirable):
· Level 3 Food Safety qualification. [E]
· Level 3 HACCP qualification. [E]
· Experience of working in a quality role within manufacturing. [E] (preferably food related)
· Previous management experience, leading a team. [E]
· An undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline [D], or demonstrable significant experience within industry. [E]
· Experience in the manufacture and export of animal products or food. [D]
· Proficient in Microsoft suite of computer programs. [E]
· Willingness to periodically travel between manufacturing sites (c13miles). [E]
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to analyse data and identify trend information. [E]
· Ability to manage self and team effectively, providing appropriate direction and demonstrating strong decision making. [E]

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
