Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our fast-paced café environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient team performance, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily café operations
- Lead, motivate, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Support achievement of sales targets and control operational costs
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and brand consistency
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality or food service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
