Internal Logistics Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and analytical Internal Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Bromyard. This is a pivotal role where you will bridge the gap between our customer orders and our day-to-day operations.
You will take full ownership of our live order book, ensuring we have the exact parts required to meet customer demand, scheduling dispatches, forecast exactly what we need to purchase or produce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Order Book Management: Review incoming customer orders and translate them into actionable production and dispatch schedules.
- Inventory & Parts Checking: Monitor live stock levels and parts availability to prevent production bottlenecks or delayed shipments.
- Material Planning: Maintain and update Excel planning spreadsheets to calculate what materials need to be bought or manufactured.
- Dispatch Coordination: Plan, organise, and oversee daily dispatches to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Internal Collaboration: Liaise closely with purchasing, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements:
- Excel Proficiency: Must be confident using Excel advanced functions to manage large data sets and planning schedules.
- Planning Experience: Proven experience in production planning, material control, inventory tracking, or logistics coordination.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to look at an order book, cross-reference it with current inventory, and accurately predict shortages.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when data-entering and tracking parts numbers, order volumes, and dispatch dates.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Adaptable mindset to quickly re-plan schedules if part shortages or shipping delays occur.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate between internal departments.
