Job Role:ExperiencedFurniture Designer/CAD Draughtsman
Job Type:Full-time.
Salary:£30,000 - £38,500 p.a. depending on experience and skillset.
Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the UK's finest furniture Makers. We produce luxury furniture for clients in the UK and all over the world. We pride ourselves on the quality of our craftsmanship and design and we are looking for an experienced Designer/ CAD Draughtsman to join our successful and friendly team.
Our work ranges from the manufacture of individual, free standing pieces of cabinet work through to complete room schemes and larger projects.
Experience requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience of producing detailed drawings of bespoke furniture for manufacture using AutoCAD or Solidworks.
- A good understanding of furniture production methods and materials.
- Experience of making furniture would be advantageous.
- Good 3D CAD skills and an understanding of CAD integration with CNC (5-axis) would be desirable.
Main areas of responsibility would include:
Client liaison. Design Development. Site surveys. Researching and integrating fittings. The production of presentation and working drawings to the highest standards. Briefing makers and regular visits to workshop to ensure work is being made as intended.
