Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and seating areas
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all beverages and food items meet health standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments with basic math skills and ensuring accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Experience
- Previous barista experience is required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages
- Serving experience that demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods and ensure timely service
