Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. This is a field based role, and would suit suit an enthusiastic individual who likes to manage their own time and spend the day solving bespoke customer problems face to face. You will be responsible for identifying and managing pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. You will utilise various techniques and products to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine the appropriate treatment methods.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products in a safe and effective manner, following all guidelines and regulations.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans, products used, and follow-up actions required.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Full UK driving licence, for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
- For insurance purposes, applicants must be 25+
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify pests accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide clear instructions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to pest control is advantageous.
- Must be physically fit, as the role may involve lifting equipment and working in various environments.
