We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join us here at Octavius, working in our Regional Civil Engineering business unit.
In this role, you'll manage projects assigned to us through the Somerset Council New Asset Framework, and Traffic Signal Infrastructure Framework.

- Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, contracts, and governance processes.

- Mentoring and developing team members, sharing best practices to enhance skills and project outcomes.

- Commercial awareness, and good level of programming and contract knowledge. Familiarity with NEC 4 contracts, and an understanding of how project and package P&L impacts on corporate finances.
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, professional certification in project management, or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage.
- Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
- Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
- SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
